Ruben Martinez proudly owns all locations of Super Mercado Monterrey. Back in 1985, while in junior high, an opportunity was given to work for him. Under one roof, a wide selection of Mexican food favorites can be found. From hot tortillas and delicious pico de gallo to red or green salsa for pork carnitas, the offerings are just the beginning. For those who enjoy barbacoa, this is the ideal spot. Ribeyes and T-bones, seasoned perfectly for grilling, are readily available. The food is fresh. Delicious, and affordable. During the height of the pandemic, when other stores faced shortages, Ruben ensured that shelves remained stocked and prices stayed reasonable. For anyone in search of menudo, tripitas, or cuerritos, this is the place to be.

This store is truly loved! The meat counter, especially the fajita meats, along with the freshly made tortillas, pico de gallo, and guacamole, are absolutely outstanding! The only downside is the distance from my home, which prevents me from shopping here as frequently as desired. The staff friendly. Welcoming atmosphere.

The primary reason for visiting here is to purchase tortillas. They are made fresh every morning, and it’s possible to see the tortillas being prepared while enjoying their warmth right after production. Winter visits are especially enjoyable, as that is when delicious buñuelos are sold.
